There is a great deal of satisfaction in growing your own vegetables. You can't beat freshness, variety and eventually the savings of growing your own vegetables. One of the hurdles of getting a garden going is the preparation needed to have a successful foundation for planting.
Our vegetable garden preparation includes the following: Removal of grass, break and till soil, addition of organic matter, lime and fertilizer to the soil, set up of an automatic spigot timer and irrigation head(s), fence and netting if needed, seeds and mulch dressing over the garden to help reduce weed problems.
We do all the work needed to get a vegetable garden going. For a 10'x10' area the set up cost is between 300.00 - 350.00 the first year. In following years, this is closer to a 75.00 – 125.00 cost since the majority of the heavy work has been done.
This service does not include the maintenance needed to care for a garden. We do want to communicate with you by email or phone to answer your questions and concerns. It is important to remember that vegetable gardening is not a project that can be set up and then 60 days later you can start harvesting, it is not that simple. Numerous customers have provided feedback that growing your own vegetables is not a complex undertaking, but it is important to be aware that some work on your part is required.
